You live on my love. Unforgettable you are. Your numerous impact and legacies will be felt and known by generations unborn. 

Christmas is not the same without you. By now we would be somewhere. Either in Owerri enroute the village or somewhere in Lagos. I am just so low in spirit and down. How can there be Christmas without Innocent for Chidinma, Amarachi, Nkechi and I. Will the pain ever go away? I miss you you soooo much it hurts. This wasn’t our plan honey. But I accept God’s plan. Innocent was the first man who saw the potentials in me of becoming a resource person for capacity development in security. He engaged my services, bought me my first computer after I left the services of NDLEA. He made me have self worth. He said to me "Tony, being out of paid employment is not the end of you. You have just left your comfort zone, Its time to  develop some skills and show forth what is naturally embedded in you. Who knows, you may someday go back to that organisation or similar ones to lead and mentor people. You are naturally made for leadership to positively impact on the society and human kind. So go for it and the rest will be history". From then on  Innocent Chukwuma became my mentor, coach and my referee for all my ventures and endeavours. Innocent lives on, for to live in the hearts of those who love you, is not to die. He is heaven's gain. His legacies live on. 

My love on Saturday November 25th, 2023, Mbaise People’s Congress in Lagos gave me an award at their annual lecture and awards ceremony. This took me by surprise as I wasn’t expecting it. However I feel honoured and consider this award the highest award I have ever received, coming from home, from your people, my people. I am an Mbaise wife for life and committed to the place and people who gave me a beautiful soul like you. Love ❤️ you dear. FORE

In 2016, we both turned 50. You in February and I in September. We had a joint celebration midway in June when the children were on vacation and could attend. It was lovely. An uncommon couple were, with so many similarities. We had friends and family with us. We danced and danced. We both always loved dancing and used to go clubbing in the early years of our marriage ( up on till 15 years after). Oh yes . For our joint 50th birthday dance we had Shania Twain playing as it spoke to us. A lot of people didn’t give our marriage a chance but we proved them wrong. We made it.

Our NYSC days were one of the most memorable moments of my life. Even though I never met Innocent in person, I spoke to him on the phone and I saw several pictures of him. He sounded and looked like a complete gentleman and I got my confirmation with the glow I saw on your face when his name was mentioned during our conversations. He missed the first visit you and the girls made to Atlanta. He also missed the second visit you made by your self. I was hoping that he would be able to make the next visit with you. I received the news of his death with shock and disbelief  I was home that fateful day after undergoing a major surgery and my pain tripled. I was so in shock and all I could think of was you and your girls. I sent you messages on WhatsApp and you never replied, until  later. I prayed a silent prayer with the little energy left of me. I just wanted to be with you and hug you so hard. I have been praying ever since and I believe that the good Lord will continue to console you and shield you and the girls. On this one year anniversary of Innocent passing, I pray that his soul continue to rest in God’s care. My dear, (your favorite way to address me)  God Gat you and the girls.
