Innocent Emeka Agomuoh was the third child in a family of seven born to Mr and Mrs Sylvester Nwoko Agomuoh of blessed memory. He was born in Kafanchan Nigeria on April 11th 1956.He was raised a very good Catholic  Christian with very humble beginnings. His elementary school was at St Peter Claver Catholic School in Kafanchan. He attended Mbaise Boys High School under My Nwogu as principal . Every student that went through that school during that era know exactly what I mean in terms of discipline. Innocent earned his undergraduate degree at Washington State University and his graduate degree from University of Michigan . He was a student leader while at Washington. Inno like I call him was hired from school by General Motors. He left GM  after several years for Ford Motors in search of greener pastures. Until his accident in 2012 he was a project manager at Ford Motors. Inno was a man of his words,an eloquent speaker, good adviser, hard worker, always wore a smile despite the ups and downs of life.He was a loving husband to Janet,an excellent dad to Nikki and Dee,and wonderful brother to us all. He loved God and man.He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. We thank God for sharing him with us. So long until we meet to part no more..

I know without any doubt that you're at home with the Lord and doing very well too.I recall the last dream I had of you, it seemed so real, but you were in a hurry to leave..continue to rest and don't forget to always take our needs directly to the Lord, while you're watching over us all. I miss you and all you represented, but at the same time thank God that you're at peace. Your spirit lives on with us and we will all re-unit some day!. Goodnight for now!.

"Dee Innocent (which is how I love to call you), you will forever be missed! Your death is like a dream to me but no doubt that you are in a better place. I am struggling to write this tribute because I had called your phone to inform you about my hubby's graduation and only to learn about your death. You imparted a lot of people that crossed your path. You and your siblings were a HUGE inspiration and encouragement (physically, spiritually and financially)when my dad (Linus Unegbu "aka Teacher") SUDDENLY passed on August 14, 2015. Myself and my family will miss you but we live with the sweet memories that we all shared. Your celebration of life yesterday put a closure to me that indeed you have transitioned to glory. And for the entire Agomouh's family, "YOUR BEST DAYS ARE AHEAD" and I can testify to that and know that God will carry you guys on His Eagles' wings. Shalom!"

Dr.Obioma Agomuoh & Siblings,
If there were days when human faces should be bright (beaming with smile), it is not when dearly beloved ones are being interred to "mother earth.
Though we are privileged to see the event taking place live. However, in our veins run feelings of sadness akin to yours because our own Innocent is no more
But, we are comforted by the fact that he lived a selfless life. He served God and humanity to the best of his ability. This being so, we hope to meet him at the feet of our Saviour on the resurrection morning.
May our good God comfort and give you the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.

My wife and I were driving by the Ford Performing Arts Center this evening and saw a large photo of Innocent on the electronic sign. My first thought was that he was a featured speaker at an event. He and I had been very active in the Toastmasters Club at the Ford iTek Center where we had both worked at one time. Then I saw that tonight was a wake keeping for Innocent. Such a shock. He was a good man who cared about so many others. He was there to help whether you were a fellow worker or a fellow member of Toastmasters. Our condolences are with his family and fellow community members.

It is still all so surreal to us that Uncle Innocent is no longer here.  It was an honor to pay an official visit to him and his wife less than two weeks before he was taken from us. It was important to me that Igbo Cultural Association and I officially pay Uncle Innocent and his wife an official visit to let them know how much we appreciate his service to the Igbo community in which we live. Today that visit means even more to us. We had the opportunity to recognize one of the heroes of our community in Michigan and say THANK YOU. His optimism, strength and bright smile could energize and bright up anybody’s day. We have made frequent visits to Uncle Innocent’s home since the loss of our husband and father and It has had a tremendous impact on our outlook in both our personal and business lives. Words of wisdom as we call it. Uncle Innocent possessed a lot of that. Even after his accident, Uncle Innocent would call me over to chat and I would look forward to those visits, especially his cheerful attitude.

Over the past few years Uncle Innocent has always been there when we needed him. He was a great source of wisdom for my brother and I. He has yet to let us down. He has been a great friend, uncle and God Father to my father’s family and we will always be grateful for that. Our family will always be there for Auntie Janet and your kids as you were for us.

Your journey on earth has come to a sudden end and although we will take our time fighting with a combination of anger and sorrow, we will take solace in the fact that it does not end here. I will tell you all about it when I see you again.

Rest in Peace

~With Love

Mbaise Cultural Association of Michigan extends our heartfelt condolence to the entire Agomuoh family and in particular to Mrs. Jane Agomuoh, Diala Agomuoh, Nikki Agomuoh and Dr. Obioma Agomuoh.
We mourn with you on the passing of our brother and friend, Mr. Innocent Emeka Agomuoh. We pray for God’s Grace, Comfort and Strength during this difficult time.

As we mourn, let’s not forget that our beloved brother is in a better place. For the scriptures states in John 14:1-3 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.

As we mourn with family, friends and the entire community, we should never lose sight of our Christian belief which the scripture reminds us in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 “ In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” We should truly give thanks to God for the wonderful years we shared with a wonderful man and brilliant mind, Mr. Innocent Emeka Agomuoh.

In the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years. (Abraham Lincoln). Our dear brother, Mr. Innocent Emeka Agomuoh you have fought a good fight and may the good Lord that called you back home grant your soul eternal rest with angels in heaven. Amen

My wife and I met Innocent in Flint, Michigan in 1988. He was our son's Godfather. Innocent was a brother to me and we shared very strong bond and great memories such as the passing of his father, his marriage to Tessy, the birth of Nikki and many more. My family and I are saddened and in deep sorrow for such an untimely death. However, we are encouraged and comforted by the friendship we shared. Our deepest condolences to his family especially to Nikki and Diala. May the light of God continue to shine upon you until we all meet again!

Dear Janet, Nikki, Dee and Family -
I was so very sad to hear of Innocent's passing. All of us at Ford know how much Innocent loved you and your children and his family. He was such a lovely man, always smiling and willing to help others - he always had time and a kind word for others, patience and a twinkle in his eyes. He was a friend and an inspiration to all of us that he worked with here at Ford.
You are in my heart and prayers, as is Innocent.

Stay safe, Ann Marie

On behalf of the Ogbe Nneissii Development Association
, USA, Inc, I sympatize with the family of Agomuoh on the death of our brother Innocent Agomuoh. His death brought shock waves in our hearts and indelible marks in our souls. Our members should take solice and belief that all mortals shall die. Innocent as a comtemporary was a wonderful man of virtue and industry, kind hearted and humble. Inno was a founding memeber of the Association and helped lay the foundation in 2007. His passing has created a vaccum that would be hard to fill. Your darling wife Jane as a soul mate took very good care of you while you were recovering from accident, she will miss you indeed; your son, Diala was your pillar and strength;your daughter Nikki was your inspiration and your rising star, your siblings: Obioma, Stella, Clara, Emmanuel and Augustine were your pride. Death has taken a special man of the people. We are consloed that you are going to meet your brother, John and your parents in paradise. We will miss your charm, your charisma, your management skill and ethical approach to business and your relationship with people. We ask God to provide the fortitude to bear the loss of a dear one in a young age. May you rest in peace a man of great repute. We will miss you today and always.

Inno, it is with very deep sorrow that I received the shocking news of your passing away. You were a very dear friend, brother and confidant to me, and a loving and devoted husband to your wife Jane, and to your children, Nikki and Dialla. You were an inspiration to me and many others, and you lived and taught us all the true meaning of optimism and perseverance in all situations. Your radiant smile was very infectious and soothing, and you devoted your life to the service of God and humanity. You were a rare gem.

To Jane, Nikki, Dialla, and the entire Agomuoh family, my family and I express our deepest sympathies for this immeasurable loss. We pray to God Almighty to grant his soul eternal rest and to bring to all of you, the much needed comfort in this trying moment. May the loving memories of him that you hold deep within your hearts help soothe your pain. Be further comforted in the knowledge that he is now safe in God's arms, for ..."Whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life."

Inno my brother, I pray that God whom you served so sincerely will give you rest in his bossom. Rest in Peace dear brother, for God will shower his love and protection on the family you left behind.

Fare thee well, brother, fare thee well, until we meet to part no more.

The heartfelt tributes posted so far from friends, family and acquaintances locally and across the world are testimony of what a great, kind, soulful Christian man Innocent was. Regrettably, I only got to meet both of you after his accident while ushering at St. James. He exuded warmth and kindness and I could see the strength and love in both of you as you dealt with the challenges he faced. May God watch over and protect you and your family until the day you're all reunited in God's eternal Kingdom.
