I remember one night my Aunt Irene and Tio Randy came over to baby sit me. Well My Aunt Irene thought it would be a good idea to cover my arms in ketchup and tell my mom I got cut. My mom Freaked !!! But the rest of us thought it was funny.

OMG! I remember how much Irene hated cats. The first time she visited us, we have to toss the cat out. We also had to enter the house first and check to make sure the cat was no where in sight. Then, and only then, would she enter the house. LOL makes me laugh just thinking about it!

Irene was ALWAS the first to call friends and loved ones on birthdays. She was amazing about remembering dates. So, when you got that call at 12:01 am on your special day, you didn't care that you might have been in a deep sleep...she didn't care either. She just wanted to be with first to call. :) We are going to miss your calls Irene!

I am so glad I found the pictures of Irene wearing those funny glasses and smoking the marshmellow.  I will never forget her last visit to Seattle in 2007.  It was the best week ever. We would stay up and talk for hours about life and dream about the future.  She loved Seattle and especially Pike Place Market.  She loved the greenery and mountains.
