"Jesus, draw me ever nearer as I labor thro' the storm. You have called me to this passage and I'll follow tho' I'm worn.
May this journey bring a blessing, may I rise on wings of faith, and at the end of my heart's testing with your likeness let me wake.
Jesus guide me thro' the tempest, keep my spirit staid and sure. When the midnight meets the morning, let me love you even more.
Let the treasures of the trial form within me as I go, and at the end of this long passage let me leave them at your throne."
They made me think of Mrs. Talley and all of the years that I've known her. I'm sure she had a wealth of treasures to lay at the throne and now she has woken with His likeness.
She was my Sunday School teacher when I was 5 and has had a special place in my heart ever since then. I was blessed to be able to "see" her via FaceTime the last time my parents went to visit her in the nursing home a month or two ago.
May you all find comfort in the arms of the savior whom she loved so dearly and who now holds her in the palm of His hand. My deepest sympathy to all of her family.
My sincerest sympathy to all the family.
