At the first anniversary of Mr. Wandji Isaac's demise, I take this opportunity to comfort the Wandji Family and all friends of late Mr. Wandji Isaac and to remind us that death comes to pass and we have to build on his struggles by facing our own challenges squarely. As we remember him, we should be comforted that he is with the LORD.
God Bless you.

" Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints." Psalm 116:15.

His name was Mr. Wandji but my entire family called him Daddy. We were blessed and are pleased to have meet and known him. He was simple, respectful, God-fearing and an advisor. We had fun and discussed life challenges in Cameroon and the US. In fact, he had become a friend and I'm fulfilled my entire family ( my beloved wife, children and Grandma) shared in his life. I wish we had more!! We are deeply saddened at his demise but are comforted to know that " he lived the life of a saint" and is now in the sight of the LORD. He has not died but lives forever because as William Penn says, " Death cannot kill what never dies." Daddy has not died, we will soon meet again!!

RIP!!

Not Ready to Let You Go

I wish that I could tell you
I'm not ready to let you go.
But you've already departed,
And my heart is feeling so low.

I miss that little twinkle
That used to light up your eyes.
And I miss the sound of your voice,
Your laughter and your sighs.

But most of all I miss
The way you made me feel,
Like nothing could ever harm me because
Your love was so strong and real.

There are others here who miss you,
And they've gathered here today.
Your life touched so many people,
Who became your friends along the way.

They want you to know they love you, too.
And they're filled with sadness and grief.
No one really wants to say goodbye,
So we'll just wish you eternal peace.

My Last Message

October 25, 2014

The moment I have been avoiding since I heard you were gone is finally here.

The time I have to tell you goodbye and let you know how great you’ve been as my dad

I remember you always told me you were proud of me

I remember you always had a word of advice to give me each time we spoke

I remember how you always asked me when you will be having a son-inlaw

I remember all your kind words and best wishes for me

I remember the last time I saw you; your energy, your gentleness, your smiles

Hearing you were gone was the greatest shock in a long time

And saying goodbye to you now, hurts me sooo bad

I miss you more than I can express

I miss the times I rushed to the corridor in school to call you.

I miss the times I get back to class and tell my friends “It’s my dad!!!”

Though opportunities to show how special you were did not come that often,

I will stay with the memories of the times we made each other happy

Having you for a dad was such a great pleasure

I know you're in heaven above, looking down on us with all your love

One day we'll be together again. Till then, I'll always treasure every moment

And if I need to talk to you, I'll just sit down and pray

Bye – Bye Daddy

"“The souls of the virtuous are in the hands of God, no torment shall ever touch them. In the eyes of the unwise, they did appear to die, their going looked like a disaster, their leaving us, like annihilation; but they are in peace”... Dear big brother, may your soul rest in this profound peace which God so assuredly promises. You are dearly missed!"
