Urn Burial
Isabelle Cohen-Heutschi
1. Opening
In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Amen.
2. Introduction
We are gathered here to take leave of our beloved deceased Isabelle Cohen-Heutschi.
Her death fills us with pain, but we all live in the hope that life continues in death
and that a new life with God begins. Our God is the God of the living and the
dead. He bestows to Isabelle Cohen, as well as to us all, an immortal body so
that we may be seated, united, at His table in the End of Time. The first and
greatest testimony, God accomplished through His Son.
Thus He has resurrected Jesus Christ from the dead, thus he will resurrect us.
In His name we were baptized, in His name we will be resurrected.
God bless this Urn: in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Amen.
[Die Urne wird mit Weihwasser gesegnet]
3. Prayer
1. Blessing of the Grave Site
Lord Jesus Christ,
by your own three days in the tomb,
you hallowed the graves of all who believe in you
and so made the grave a sign of hope
that promises resurrection
even as it claims our mortal bodies.
Grant that our sister may sleep here in peace
until you awaken her to glory,
for you are the resurrection and the life.
Then she will see you face to face
and in your light will see light
and know the splendor of God,
for you live and reign for ever and ever.
Amen.

one God, for ever and ever.

Now and for ever.

For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours.

[Hoffriedhof: Inzens]
These words from the Book of Revelation gives us consolation and hope. God will embrace Isabelle Cohen as he will embrace us one day. God is the Beginning and the End, the Alpha and Omega. He stands by us in life and gives us strength in these difficult times as now at the funeral of Isabelle Cohen.
Isabelle Cohen has traveled extensively throughout her life. On January 1st she completed her last voyage and we believe and hope that God has taken her onto Him.
