Walt and I were so lucky to have Jim and Jan in our lives. We are all campers and we were certainly looking forward to many more camping trips with them.....especially with their new camper. We still don't know how they managed to get into and out of their tent on top of their truck.....lol!! Jim was always entertaining us. He loved Harbor Freight and all of his many gadgets. He could build one heck of a fire! I'm from Clarion, so it was always so nice to get together with Jim and Jan and reminisce about the good ole days in and around Clarion. We're still in shock over his recent passing even though we know he is in a better place. Rest in peace Jim.....until we meet again! We have a lifetime of memories from working at Hanks Mobil (Ha Ha) to all the Virginia Beach vacations. Ivan sure kept us laughing all the time. A truly great friend you will be missed. RIP buddy Forever in our thoughts Gene, Kelly, Nicole and Angela

Think I probably received the last big smile and friendly wave last Monday evening as Jim zoomed by on his daily bike ride (Steve). We were shocked and saddened when he was gone early Tuesday morning from his earthly home in Juno Beach. Jim and Jan have been among the best of neighbors for several years. Jim, you will be missed by Jan and Angel and your boys most of all, but we will all miss you too. Promise to keep an eye on Jan for you. Hope you enjoy the Heavenly hunting. Steve and Paula Austin

I did not know Jim well, but he seemed to be a friendly guy. He always had a smile and a wave to Florida neighbors. He spent time in his “office” tinkering with whatever he did? Jim will be missed by many. Rest In Peace.

It was a pleasure to get to know Jim. He would fly by on his bike with that familiar smile and wave. Usually he had some witty comment also. We will always remember him working on some project in his little shed off the carport and sending a wave as we drove by. He will be missed. Rest In Peace Jim.

Dear Sweet Jan, Jim was surely a one-of-a kind man. Jack of all trades. Always there to offer help. Constantly on the move. Fiddling with something. Fixing. Creating. Nurtured by you. Jim and Jan, you will always be a pair in my heart!

I have a lifetime of memories with Jim ("Jimmy" when we were kids)...always the older cousin so he made us feel somehow safe and protected when we were with him. I remember standing at the intersection beside Jim's house,
waiting for the ice cream truck to come in the summertime, spending hours
watching his pet turtles, eating Tootsie rolls together on the lawn swing, learning how to pitch and how to hit a softball, cutting the sleeves off our sweatshirts and wearing them inside out in the summer, making forts out of
couch and chair cushions, pillow fights, catching lightning bugs and most of
all, getting that almost brotherly "pep" talk a few days before I got married and of course, that big broad grin.  Thanks, Jim, for all of those special memories and many more. Rest in peace, my sweet cousin.
