J.C. “Bubba” Strum was born March 19, 1942 in Bullock County, Alabama to the late Annie Bessie Strum Willis and Arthur Blackmon.

At an early age he confessed a belief in Christ and united with the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Family.

He departed this earthly life, October 15, 2012 at the Baptist Medical Center, Montgomery, Alabama. He was preceded in death by one brother, Leonard Willis.

He leaves to cherish his memories: a loving, car- ing and devoted friend, Mae Nella Jenkins, Union Springs, AL; sisters, Elizabeth (Mitchell) Paulk, Flint, MI, Joan Willis, Kokomo, IN, and Annette Grady, Harrisburg, PA; brother, Harold WIllis, Kokomo, IN; his devoted aunt, Jannie  Manuel, Union Springs, AL and aunts, Synthia Strum, Columbus, GA and Addie Strum, Cincinnati, OH; and a host of other relatives and friends.
