J.C. had a dry sence of humor and did not like to hear Aggie jokes; however,
 he told me an Aggie joke one day and I fell for it (something concerning the telephone ).  He also enjoyed my lemon chess pies.  He was always interested in what my family was doing.  We knew some of the same people from one of his jobs when he worked in the milk business and we had fun remembering some of the unusual people he came in contact with.  J.C. and Helen provided well for their family and had a very successful life.
