Daddy's Shoes
Most little kids have no idea how to dance. I was worse. I had no coordination whatsoever. We heard a lot of music in our house, though. "Proud Mary" from Creedence Clearwater Revival was my favorite, for obvious reasons. lol. So, if I wanted to dance, I would step onto Daddy's shoes and put both of my little hands in his big ones. We'd move back and forth in our own particular version of "dancing." Daddy was no Fred Astaire, but I always thought he was the best dancer in the universe. I miss that, even now. I would give anything and everything I had for just one more chance to step onto his shoes, and dance again. I love you, Daddy.
