Jack Roberts reminds me of a true American hero. He was a great man who was on the side of good. I remember going to ball games with him. He was like a local hero at the games. People would get out of there seats just to get to say hello and talk to him. He was so much RESPECTED by everyone. Family, players, friends, colleagues, etc. all appreciated all of the efforts that Jack gave the communities he served.
When God made Jack Roberts he broke the mold.

Jack Roberts has always been a inspiration. I'm so glad I got to meet and know this great American. I feel like this type of man is vanishing from the American landscape. Honest, humble, family man, Christian, good father, and gentle (although I bet some of his athletes might differ with this one LOL). Knowing Jack made me a better person.
