Unbroken Friendship

June 30, 2012
I Met Jacklyn at Madison Christian Children's Center, when she began working there in 2005. With her friendly and witty personality Jackie was quickly loved by everyone at MCCC. She worked part time in the afternoon with me in the 1 year olds class-room. Jameson, her oldest son was only a few months old. I remember her telling me she was a little sad she couldn’t bring Jameson with her to work because he was still not of age to be allowed into the daycare program. She missed him a lot those few hours she was away from him. She would often say she couldn’t wait to go home and see her Jameson. Jackie and I quickly became close friends. She lived just across the street from the daycare and I would often visit her and the baby. I fell in love with that cute baby of hers Jameson. Before we knew it, we were hanging out all the time. It was Jackie, Jameson, and I. I was her “Stef Stef”, She was my “Jack Jack”, and Jameson was our “TT” (Tiny Turtle). Eventually we both left Madison Christian and although our lives drifted apart, we always remained friends. I had the opportunity of being part of the baby shower for her beatiful daughter Aurora, as well as being there the day of her birth, and apart of the baby shower for her son Blaine as well as his birth. It has been a true blessing to have had such a wonderful person be a part of my life. Jackie was all beautiful things. She was free spirited, friendly, caring, very loving, funny and foremost, she was a great Mommy. She had an inmense heart, she loved joking and laughing, she loved life and everyone around her. She never saw evil in anyone and always connected with people no matter their background. There will never be anyone quite like Jackie, and I will always remember her as the special person she was and will reamin so in my heart.

My Best Friend Jackie

June 20, 2012

Jackie was one of my best friends. When we met we clicked right off the bat. Everytime I walked through the door, I got one of her warm greeting hugs, this I will never forget. Me and her talked about everything.  We laughed most of the time.  Now that I think back I believe we spent the majority of the time we hung out together laughing.  We laughed so hard sometimes it would hurt, and we both continued to egg each other on, trying to provoke another laugh. .  We immediately started hanging out all the time.  I remember going out with our whole "crew" and dancing our asses off all night long until the sun came up.  I remember goin to visit her at Einstein Bagels and spending my lunchtime just talking to her about everything and anything.  Everytime I showed up to surprise her at work she always had the biggest grin on her face and would pounce up and down on her tippy toes.  Her smile & excitement always brightened up my day.  One thing I will never forget about Jackie is our talks together.  We had some of the deepest and most intellectual talks I've had with anybody.  We covered all topics: Creation, existence, love, life, family, church, God, friends, fun memories.  We constantly talked about everything.  I will always love her and miss her soooo much.  What an amazing Spirit.  I will miss you greatly Jackie.  But I know your in heaven and I know your going to really like it up there with God.  You will never be forgotten dear.

I met Jackie while working with her at Starbucks, although we did not know each other very long. She always had a smile on her face, and a contagious laugh! We spent many fun mornings laughing about our many inside jokes in drive-thru. She was a beautiful person inside and out. She will be greatly missed. Sara

Starbucks

I worked with Jackie when I was at Starbucks on 16st and Bethany Home.  I didnt know her real well but the time I did spend with her, she was a very laid back person and very cool to be around.  I was there from 2006-2009 and she would come in and visit with her kids and the stroller.  I'm just very sad to see that she passed away soo soon.

First Impressions

June 18, 2012

Our dear Jackie is such a beautiful and intelligent woman, with the kindest of hearts.  So was my first impression of my step-daughter.

When she and I first met in 2005, I had been married to her dad for only a few months.  I was nervous and so hoped for a friendship with her.  What I got instead was one of those rare gifts of meeting a person who was warm and sweet and who could show me the ability to say "I love you".  A young beautiful woman who was sincere and humble and showed me how love was the most important thing in life.  A young woman who loved life and the people in it.

My first impression of Jackie was that she loved her daddy dearly.  Her "Da da" was a constant.  The one person who could keep her grounded, despite the distance between them.    Until the end, she was grateful for the true and unique love she shared with her Dad.  His Munchkin will be a constant glow in his heart . . . . forever.

Thank you Jackie for the warmth and love you shared with me.

Love you forever,  anna
