Flowers
When you were a little boy, you would pick flowers from the garden and bring them to me.
Now I bring them to you.
I miss you my son.

We got Brinley from a shelter in Georgia when she was around 2 years old. She used to sleep on Brian's bed in Georgia all the time, but eventually took to Jake. He just loved this cat and she would sleep on his bed all the time. She was a fat cat! She started going downhill just a few months before Jake passed away. He took her to the vet to be put down. He went by himself and held her in his arms until she was gone. He told me it broke his heart and that he thought about her every day. I wish I could have held Jake in my arms when his time came, but it wasn't meant to be. I wanted to put her picture in cuz he loved her so much. One of Jake & Brian's friends (don't remember who) one day was at the house and Brinley was lying on all fours, and the friend said 'she puddles', cuz her tummy just sprawled out all over! It was funny 'she puddles'! lol

We were living in Perry, Georgia. This little bunny kept coming into our yard. I told Jake to take a carrot out with him and just kneel down and let the bunny come to him. Eventually, this little 'bunbun', as Jake & Brian called him, came up to Jake and munched on the carrot. This is one of my favorite pictures of my Jakey.

Jake and his Grandmother Mayola (my Mom) in September 2013. Jake & Dale were on their way to Florida to see Tommy and they stopped to visit her in Perry, Georgia. She wasn't expecting them because Jake wanted to surprise her. She hadn't seen Jake in a while and at first, she said she didn't recognize him because he had matured so much! It's a great picture of them. My Mom now lives with me in Hermitage, TN.
