Jacob passed unexpectedly early in the morning July 9th, 2023 at age 27. Jacob was born Oct. 14th, 1995 to William and Tracy Jamison in Alva, Florida. Jacob is preceded in death by his Grandparents Jean Shelby and Claude William (Pauline) Jamison. As well as Grandfather Robert Bassett and his Aunt Brenda (Jimmy Jamison).
Jacob is survived by his father William Jamison (Doreen Austin) and mother Tracy Jamison (William Melvin), his sisters Shelby Jean (Javier Santos) and Samantha Ann and his Grand Mother Dolores Bassett. As well as Many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends scattered across this country.
Jacob was outgoing and friendly, always smiling. Always encouraging others to pursue their dreams. He loved to fish and enjoyed the outdoors. He went to the Alva School and played Little League Baseball with his Dad as a coach. When Jacob was in Riverdale High School he switched to LaCrosse and excelled at that sport as well. During his high school years, Jacob became a bass guitar player for the band Down to Fall and won a talent show in Ybor City. Jacob went on to travel America with various contract jobs working on Wind Turbines. Then settled in Ohio with a solar job where he “wouldn’t have to climb so much anymore.”
Jacob will be missed by many across this nation. Please fondly remember his smile, his big heart and his warm hugs. Remember him in nature, in the whispering wind, in the colors of the sunset, in the flight of an owl…
A celebration of life is being planned for Saturday October 21st, 2023 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Fort Myers, Florida.
