This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Jacob Rippy 74 years old , born on December 29, 1943 and passed away on November 13, 2018. We will remember him forever.

Funeral service will be held 11:00am Tuesday November 20,2018 at Harvest Grove Baptist church. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Jacob Rippy was born December 29, 1943 in Shelby, North Carolina, and transitioned into his heavenly home on November 13, 2018. Jacob known as Jake was a faithful member and Deacon of Harvest GroveMissionary Baptist Church.He was a devoted husband, brother, uncle, and friend that truly loved the Lord.He was loved by all that knew him. Jake attended Lebanon High School. He did masonry work, painted homes, and was a factory worker.

Jake was preceded in death by his parents, Noah and Lonnie Bell Rippy, his wife Annie Louise Rippy.Four Brothers Isaac, Robert, Sam and Noah, and one Sister Mae Smith. He leaves to cherish his memory five Brothers, Fred (Sylvia) Rippy of Julian, NC, James F. Rippey of Dayton, OH, Arnold, Reynold, andJulius (Pat) Rippy all of Lebanon, OH. Three Sisters Nola Smith of Lebanon, OH, Shirley Wilkinson, and Faye (Ozell) Foward all of Dayton, OH.Two Sister-in-laws Marjorie of Lebanon, OH. , and Alma of Pleasant Garden, NC.Many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.With special thanks to nieces Brandy Foward and Jennifer Rippey, and Brother-in- law Ozell Foward. Jake will be missed by all that knew him. Our loss is Heavens gain.
