I loved Jackie. She was a bright, warm spirit. She made the world a beautiful place with her presence and her beautiful designs. I would get so excited visiting her showroom. Jackie selected me to model in her shows. This was my goal and decided to try out. She was so supportive. I will miss this kind, sensitive, talented,one of a kind lady. Rest well Jackie

It's hard to believe that you are no longer here with us because you were so full of life, vim and vigour! I enjoyed our many conversations about various things and was always grateful for your wisdom and spiritual insight and support as I maneuvered different situations in my life. You were a great stepmom to my sister and I and we loved you dearly and treated us well. You were a source of positive affirmations, motivation and love whenever we needed it the most. You taught us alot about personal development and believing in ourselves, setting goals and carrying ourselves with dignity. You used to say, "The Hudson girls always look fly, no matter what!" You were always kissing up and loving up on us and you also corrected us when needed. We love you and miss you. Sleep on until we meet again Ms. Jackie by the grace of God.

Prayers to Jackie’s family. May God’s Word bring you peace. Jackie was a true God fearing believer & good friend. I was so sadden with news of her passing cause she had just called me from the hospital a few weeks before passing. I’ll miss you terribly Jackie but I find comfort in knowing we will see each again praising God in heaven. Love you my SisterFriend

I only knew Jackie for a short while, when I met her, I loved her spirit,. She was warm and very welcoming. She was an individual you would meet and never forget...she was special. Her loss is very detrimental to many who've had the honor/pleasure of knowing and loving her, but her spirit lives on in each of us. My heartfelt condolences to her families. May God comfort each and every one of you and give you the strength to go on....one day at a time. God Bless you all as Jackie's eternal light continue to shine.

Jackie was a gift, a jewel, and a joy to know. She definitely was a skilled artisan and her many talents even made mannequins look good. I’m blessed to have a few designer original pieces in my closet. We had one more dress to make....but

My greatest treasure is the imprint in my heart and mind as I remember our shared conversations, visits, and meals. Whether we prayed or talked about God, fashion, relationships, life in general, I left feeling blessed and encouraged because of our time together and have fond memories that help ease the sadness. 

Please know you are in my prayers. Jackie was loved by many and will indeed be missed❣️

When the Lord calls our loved ones home, he leaves a gift of memories in exchange. When your heart is empty filling it with happy memories can help. (Wednesday night Bible Class)

Words cannot express the sorrow I feel in my heart. Jackie and I met in church. I found her to be a very special lady who would literally give you the shirt off her back....and she did just that for me on one particular SundY morning.  I will cherish her gift to me forever. RIH Jackie...you have definitely earned your wings. You wiil truly be missed.

To the Chase Family and Friends:

May The God of All Comfort give His peace to each of you as you travel through your hour of grief. Sis. Jackie and I always greeted one another with heartfelt words and cheerful smiles the few times we saw each other. She will be sorely missed by many. But the memories of her loving kindnesses will lift the heavy laden soul!

I met Jackie years ago when United Medical Center was Greater SE Community Hospital. Our alliance grew into a friendship quickly. If you knew Jackie, you know that developing a friendship with her was so easy. Her devotion as a friend was first proven in 1990. My daughter's godmother in New York had promised to make her prom dress. But, she was taking forever to finish making the dress. Then, disaster struck. When the dress arrived from New York, it was a hot mess. I quickly turned to Jackie. As calm as she was, she calmed me down. “I can help,” she offered. We only had a short time to get it fixed. But, Jackie said, “I got this!” And she did. Afterwards, we became even greater friends, until Jackie left the hospital and our everyday get-together ended. But, our friendship continued. We got together for various occasions and as time went on we lost touch -- but never in our hearts. I have lost a great friend, but I know we will meet again. Love and miss you, Jackie.
