Funeral service will be held Friday, June 18th, 2021 at Germantown Pike Church (4310 Germantown Pike). Visitation will begin at 12:00pm and service to follow at 1:00pm. Interment at West Memory Gardens.
Jacqueline
Denise Pate Townsley, affectionately known as Jackie or ”Niecy”, 53, peacefully
passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021. She was born December 7, 1967 to her
doting mother, Patricia Pate in Atlanta, Georgia. Jackie is a graduate of
Columbia High School, Atlanta, GA, where she excelled in her studies.
Jackie
was employed by Allied Security where she served dutifully for six years before
relocating to Dayton, OH. She was joined
in marriage to the late Antonio Townsley in 2005.
Her
hobbies include traveling, watching reality tv shows, personal grooming,
wearing the latest fashion and spending time with family and friends.
Her
legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she interacted with.
She
was preceded in death by her husband, Antonio Townsley; brother, Tolie “Damien”
Pate; Cousin, Anthony Smith Jr. (TJ); Uncle, Virgil Sheppard Jr.; and devoted
friends Elose and Henry Water.
She
leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted mother, Patricia Pate; sisters,
Shatonne Pate, and Martia Moss(Atlanta, Georgia); Cousin, Cheryl Camp; Best
Friends, Keesha Jordon, Rashidah Worthy, and Umeka Carter; and a host of family and friends. She will be
dearly missed by her loved ones.
