We will miss "Jackie" as we knew her, my wife Donna and I shared her passion for bridge. Although we didn't play together often they were always memorable experiences. Her friendliness and smile will be missed. Our condolences for your loss as well as ours.

We will miss Jacqueline a lot. We only knew her a short time when we met her at St. Gabriel's Church and she was always full of happiness. We liked when she would share stories of her life as she lived it to the fullest. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. RIP Jacqueline!

Jackie was so easy to befriend when my family and I first moved to Virginia and joined St. Gabriel's Parish. I will miss her greatly! She inspired me with her faith and ability to live life without sweating the small stuff and finding joy in everything. I only hope to aspire to her level of goodness. She will not be forgotten!
With love,
Robin

I enjoyed the many hours we spent together as I helped her around the house. We had a lot of laughs together. Although I worked for Mrs. Meadows I considered her a true friend. I am thankful to have known her. She always made me eat chocolate pudding before I left. I will miss her.

I'll never forget the first time that I met Jaja, I went out to dinner with Lindsay and her family and was seated to Jaja's left at the dinner table. Throughout the dinner she charmed me with stories and jokes spoken with her wonderful French accent just loud enough for me to hear and just quiet enough that nobody else at the table could participate. If I wasn't mistaken I might say that my new girlfriends grandmother was flirting with me, and this was even before she walked out of the restaurant with no assistance but then needed my arm to guide her out to her car!

That was Jaja, full of energy, mischief, wit, and life for 87 amazing years. As the matriarch of Lindsay's family I am truly lucky to have become a part of it and to have spent time with Jaja over these last few years. Her memory lives on through her daughter and grandchildren and everyone she came in contact with who surely has a story similar to mine that brightened their life.

Vous avez été l'un d'un genre Jaja, vous serez adoré et manqués toujours!

I remember going to the beach with Lindsay's family when we were in college. Jaja insisted we had croissants for breakfast every morning, which were my favorite. We played cards, read, and hung out around the beach house. She was full of life and fun.

Jaja was a unique and compassionate soul who left us all better people for having known her. She was a special friend who touched our families life deeply at a time when we were at our lowest point due to illness. She prayed for us, comforted us and assured us that we were in good hands. She was loving mother and adoring grandmother. Cheers to the beautiful life she lived!
