today
a little part of us died
we loved you and we lost you
nothing will ever be the same

you were fighting a fight
holding back tears with your beautiful smile
the more you resisted
the more fearful you became

your death affects us all
today, i will take time to pause
like every time you knelt down to play with my son
i will reflect and spend today with the ones i love

eventually, time will heal our broken hearts
and eventually, we will mend from this sudden scar
but today in reverence, brother
we make time to revisit your memories and life's most valuable lessons

Thinking of my brother Jaime alot tonight. Jaime and I 1st met back in 97 at our Lady of assumption. 3rd grade. He had transferred from holy cross School down town ventura. We shared memories that last a lifetime. From playing ball on the black top...to growing up through our adolescent years together winninga basketballchampionship our7th grade yr...to being there the night the good lord above took his beautiful mother...I was there for my brother. I'll never understand why we get the cards we're dealt..but God definitely took a beautiful soul away when he decided to take Jaime. His smile was infectious. His laugh stays stuck in my head. I'm forever grateful God reunited back in 2018 to have one last talk about life and the Lakers....Jaime...I miss you brother. I'd do anything to shoot some hoops with you and Sean 1 more time. I love you man. October 9th is coming up. I'll be thinking of you dearly. More than I already am. BIG 3 Forever.
Love-Bobby

his Life

Christmas 2021

Dudos,

While you were not with us on Christmas in body - you're ALWAYS with us in spirit. We love you bro and you are forever missed.

X A X
It is with a heavy and solemn heart that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, uncle, and friend. He was a sunny spirit who was always generous with his beautiful smile. Jaime Ramos, left this Earth at the young age of 31 on June 21, 2021 to join his mother, Ana Maria Ramos and his grandfather, Jaime Ramos who preceded him in death.

Jaime was kind-hearted and loving in his commitment to helping others. Even in his darkest days, Jaime was a shining light and a true testament to the human spirit. Jaime leaves behind many reasons to be forever missed.

He struggled with the divorce of his parents and the untimely death of his mother. This led to a period of heavy substance use as a teenager and a young adult. Although addiction issues and incarceration would crop up later in life, Jaime overcame all odds. He cleaned himself up and ended the destructive cycle in which he found himself.

His ability to work hard and maintain connections within the community allowed him to successfully sustain fiduciary stability after incarceration. Having survived his mother's death and solitary confinement - Jaime continued to put one foot in front of the other, smile, and just keep on rollin'. He also took time to slow down and enjoy the little things in life like his trip to New York City with brother Xavier Ramos and tossing the football with his nephew Sebastian Xavier Ramos.

Jaime is survived by; Xavier Ramos, Albert "AJ" Ramos, Keri Ramos, Sebastian Xavier Ramos, Jason Gomez, Jesslynn Gomez, Dillon Ortega, Jacob Ortega, Ashley Barba, Leticia Ortega, Samantha Barba, Elizabeth Barba, Cassandra Barba, Lourdes Quevedo, Elias Quevedo, Olivia Quevedo, Iliana Quevedo, Omarh Ramos, Triny Ramos, Viscella Ramos, and Maria Ramos.

Please leave a Tribute for Jaime on the About page.
