Beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great- Grandmother, Jakata “Katie” Brawley born in West Ridge, Arkansas on July 14, 1967 gained her angel wings on December 1, 2021 in Jonesboro, Arkansas surrounded by her family and loved ones.

She loved spending time with her family and showered them with love. She enjoyed cooking for her family (she was famous for potato salad and BBQ spare ribs). She had a big heart and loved everyone she came in contact with. To know her was to be loved and blessed.

She served as a Pastor's wife for over a decade while also serving as an elementary Sunday school teacher. She babysat many children in her home over the years and always treated them like they were her own. Every child loved her and knew they were safe with her. She later worked at Gilster-Mary Lee in Wilson, AR for 14 years before retiring to be a stay at home wife.

Survivors include; husband: Tracy Lee Brawley; two daughters: Candace Edwards (Jason) and Jana Rowland (Dustin); one son: Jonathan Brawley (Mary); bonus kids: Kendra Hembrey and Alex Sanders; eleven grandchildren, and one on the way; four great grandchildren, and one on the way; four sisters: Conchata Brown, Melissa Bradford, Jean Crooms, and Kim Bruce; two brothers: Eric Elrod and Eugene Daniels; and a host of other family and friends. Katie was preceded in death by; her mother: Patsy Hollings; father: A.Z. Elrod; step mother: Frances; former mother and father in-law: Lucille and Odell Fraizer, who were like second parents to her.
