My uncle James Houser was a great man who proudly and admirably, served his country, his family and his community. Most importantly, he served God and his church. Always willing to help, whether friend, family or someone he’d never met; uncle James was there. He truly tried to love his neighbors as himself, as the scriptures instruct us to do.

My uncle was a funny man, with a ton of witty sayings and everyone who knew him, knew of his humor and his big infectious smile. He was just a cool person to be around.

I will forever miss him in this life. Truly good people are irreplaceable. However, I am joyful in the fact that he LIVES on in his daughters, son and grandchildren. Through them, I can still experience all the specialness that made my uncle James special. And for that I give God the glory.

To my uncle — I say, Rest In Peace and Power for a job well done. Your memory and legacy will not fade away. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
