One friend i wil always remember
Minister James Anthony Cato
On Tuesday, December 6, 2011, God called one of his Angels home, Minister James Cato. He was born November 21, 1966 in Fairfax, Virginia to Ms. Barbara Jean Cato. He attended school in LaGrange, GA.
He joined the Solomon Grove Baptist Church at an early age. With his musical talents and love of playing the piano, he found many church homes and finally settled in at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church where he served 28 years until his health failed. He played for the South Western Union District Association for 31 years.
He started as a volunteer on June 2005 at the Grady Memorial Health Center. He was hired as an employee in guest service and in transporter, October 31, 2005. His supervisor director was Mrs. Shandra Polite and Operation Manager was Mr. Nathaniel Mayes.
Preceding him death was his grandparents: Mr. & Mrs. Corres and Nena Truitt and Aunt, Mrs. Dorothy Robinson.
He leaves to cherish his memory a very close and dear friend: Rev. Mary E. Burth of Grantville, GA; Godparents, Mr. & Mrs. Amos (Virginia) Harris of LaGrange, GA; aunts, Ms. Lillian Floyd of LaGrange, Mrs. Agnes Rice Willingboro of New Jersey, Mr. & Mrs. Johnny (Marian) Brown of Riverdale; uncles, Mr. James Truitt of LaGrange, GA, Mr. Charles Cato of Maryland; a God sister, Wanda Cotton; Nieces, Nakeia and Ameia Cotton, Mr. & Mrs. Alvin Stephens; and a host of nephews, relatives and friends.
