This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, JAMES NAVARRO, 42 years old, born on January 26, 1969, and passed away on July 3, 2011. We will remember him forever.
I miss his smile and his big ears. Miss his style. I miss his laugh and his lies. I really miss his honesty with me. I remember when our lives started six years ago because yes it started (over) six years ago. I went to see him at valley med on his last trip back from Texas. So I show up with a Hershey's bar and a couple Big Macs (since that is what he wanted). Well...Paul and I exit the elevator, we proceed to his room...
About 6-7 seconds off the elevator to his unit. I pass a man he sas, " well excuse me young lady aren't you rude. Have no-manners! " I said, "OH! Sorry. Would you like me to hold the door open!" He chuckles and says " can't even say hi to your old man!" "Old man, where is he?" He laughed in confusion. I then looked down at his hands and I said, " What old man dad your 35 years young!" You see...
Last page: The reason for my story is...that even after his silly ear piercing and dramatic change from walking to being in a wheel chair from the last time I had seen him. Oh and his illness at the time.... I still remembered those hands, four starred knuckles, rough and strong, that held me when I was born. And man where they a good set of hands to hold when I needed someone to walk and listen to me, he was there and Today I would like to thank him for that ...so, Thanks Daddy!
