James Dennis (Butler) Edwards born July 29,
1947 to the late James Randolph and Annie Lee
Edwards. James was a member of Church of God'
He graduated from ZanaHigh School in 1965 in
Daviston, Alabama.

Also he retired from Avondale Mills after 43
years.

He was proceeded in death by his mother, father
and brother, Kenneth Edwards.

Butler was a man of few words who enjoyed the
outdoors and spending time with friends and family.
There was always a special sparkle in his eyes
whenever his granddaughters were around.
Butler leaves to cherish his memory: his devoted
wife, Francenia Edwards; three children, Robert

(Harry) Lee of Birmingham, Alabama, Shonta
Edwards of Dallas, Texas: two granddaughters,
Imani Lee and MaKaylaLee; six siblings, Nathaniel

Miller of Cleveland, Ohio, Willie (Niecie) Edwards
of Jacksonville, Florida, Robert (Loretta) Edwards
of New Site, Alabama, Steve (Dorothy) Edwards of
Jacksonville, Florida, Fredrick (Robbie) Edwards of
New Site, Alabama; three sisters-in-law, Martha
Edwards, Genette (Willie Joe) Briskey of Daviston,
Alabama, Brunette (Ethridge) Knight of Wadley,
Alabama; a brother-in-law, Cecile (Ora) Spratling of
Tuscaloosa, Alabama and a host of cousins, nieces
and nephews.
