His wife Beverley preceded him in death 1996. Survivors include son Dennis Devenport, Oxford, North Carolina, daughter Marie Burchell, Lake Worth, Florida, daughter Jean Gibson, Lake Worth, Florida, daughter Judy Buchanan, Sebring, Florida, seven Grand Children, and 5 great grandchildren.
