No one can prepare you for a loss; it comes like a swift wind. But take comfort in knowing that he is now resting in the arms of our Lord. Ive always known him as a strong protector he is an heavenly angel that watches over you. May you take comfort in knowing that you & your family have an angel to watch over you now & forever more...I will miss those delicious collard greens you used to make, but most of all, I will miss you!!!

How to tribute the happiest person I know...learn to be just as happy, funny and crazy as he.  My uncle was a jokester. He loved to make people laugh, I mean all the time. Not only did he love laughing but he loved cooking. He did not mind showing you how he made something. As when he showed me how to make hog head cheese from boiling to end result, he never left. Everyone has a purpose. I believe his purpose was to make people happy. To make you laugh whole heartedly and appreciate life. Right now he's looking down with a smile and telling us, rejoice. I'm alright, now go be happy.
Love and miss you,
Your neice Carrie

I always enjoyed being around you. You always knew how to put a smile on my face. I'll never forget you cutting my hair bald because I couldn't sit still... After that day I always made sure I did.
