His Life

A resident of Baton Rouge and native of Ventress, LA, he died on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at St. Joseph's Carpenter House. He was 88. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during WWII where he earned the Victory Medal. He is survived by his wife of sixty-eight years, Sarah Saizan, three daughters and sons-in-law; Susan and Buzz Hutcheson, Gladys and Mickey Kinney and Janet and Chuck Williams, two sons and daughters-in-law; Thomas and Margaret Saizan and James and JoLynn Saizan, fourteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Ada Saizan. Grandsons Jason Thompson, Orion Gallant, Morgan Kinney, Austin Gallant, Cade Saizan, Jimmy Saizan and Conner Saizan  served as pallbearers. He was an avid outdoor sportsman.
