James P King {54} of Dayton Ohio, passed away on October 18, 2023. Known to his friends and family as “Bub”, he was born to Barbara Noe on July 2 1969 in Dayton Ohio .
Bub was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need and was not one to shy away from hard work. In fact on many occasions he could out work those even twice his junior. Just ask his sons. ;) Bub was a very talented carpenter and an excellent handy man. If it needed fixed Bub was your guy to called. He was also a huge Cincinnati Bengals/ Reds fan and you could find him every Sunday watching the game.
But more than anything he loved spending time with his family. Especially his grandchildren.
James is survived by his mother Barbara, his wife Leanne and his three children Daniel, Dylan and Madison . He is preceded by his sister Shelly.
James’ family will host a funeral service on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at 12 pm. The service will be at W.E. Lusain Funeral Home, 2455 Stanley Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, followed by his burial in Dayton Memorial Park.

Bub your absence has been felt since you left this world, always working with Bob daily on different projects. I will miss hearing stories you would tell me, and your jokes. Always spoke of your children and grandchildren, and loved your Mom dearly. You were a good friend and a great coworker to Bob and he sure misses you. The last day I seen you as you were leaving our house, you said 'See you later Cynthia'......See you later Bub !!

Bub ,my cousin...He was always there for me.I've been renovating my home all summer and Bub did all the work.I would always ask how much he was going to charge for each project .His answer was always the same " you are family, pay whatever you can and if you can't pay then don't..".He always treated me with such respect...Bub loved and worried about his mom ,Aunt Barb immensely... Anytime I ever met anyone from Drexel I would ask if they new my cousin Bub and the answer was always yes followed by " He's a good man. " He was loved by many...My favorite memories though are that anytime I would visit his house he would always have something to give me..to take home with me..If I were there with kids he would go to the basement and come up with toys for them to take home..As it's said a man is judged by their actions and Bubs actions were all about respect and giving...It's also said a man's life's worth can be judged not by how many people he loved but by how many people loved him....Bubs life was worth a lot because he was loved by many....Your singing and dancing with the angels now and loved ones who have gone before you... Dance with my mom for me...fly high cousin.....love you for eternity...p.s.   Bub send someone my way to finish all these projects we started...
