James Lawrence (Larry) Morris, 84 of Hoover, AL passed away on Thursday July 1, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family.   Larry was born on April 27, 1937 to James R (Ralph) and Katherine E. Morris in Birmingham, AL.  He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Catherine Hanby, brother-in-law David Hanby, and granddaughter Tera Morris. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Anna Marie (Spota) Morris, sons Pat (Patricia) Morris, and Mike (Denise) Morris, grandchildren Abby, Jamie, Charles Michael, Meghan and Andrew. Larry retired from Krebs Engineering, Inc., after many years of service.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Hoover on Wednesday, July 7, 2021. Visitation will be 9:30-10:45 am, with the funeral Mass beginning at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Father Vernon Huguley and Father John Fallon will officiate.
