This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, James Burns, 59 years old, born on January 7, 1962, and passed away on May 29, 2021. We will remember him forever.


James Leslie Burns was born January 7. 1962 to the late Susan Ann Hays . Also Susans husband Jesse Hays whom was James father figure. James joined the Military shortly after graduating from Tompkins High School Savannah Georgia. 


He is survived by his son James Michael Burns and a daughter Valarie Danielle Burns and has numerous grandchildren. He is survived by his siblings. Darnell Hoehn of Eantonton Ga. William Burns his wife Kelly of Oklahoma. Jo Hanneksula her husband Rodney of Richmond  Rhode Island. Pamela Mamsfield and her companion Anthony Wright of Tennessee. Angel Hays of Westerly Rhode Island. Several nieces and nephews. 

He is predeceased by his grandparents Henley Chapman Jr and Inez Chapman of Savannah Ga. Also predeceased by a great niece and brother inlaw. 

James is also survived by several aunts and uncles. And several cousins as well. James had a big heart and a smile that leaves an imprint on your heart.
