He is gone but not forgotten. It has been overwhelming how many times I will be doing something and then all of a sudden my thoughts drift off to dad. It has been so hard to accept him being gone, He was invincible to me. I do miss him and know that everyday he is with me. We built a shop and needed framing for the windows, of course dad had left just the right materials to do the job. He was not here but he still got to be involved in the project. My favorite part of the building is the windows and they always remind me of him. Tammy it is so special that you continue to post. I know how you loved him. Nobody can bear hug like dad. Jackie

I met Cowboy Jim through my dad Larry. They pretty much became instant best friends. They both loved sports of all kinds. Whichever sports my dad normally didn't watch, Jim got him to watch as well as the other way around. They would go chop wood together and do their grocery shopping together too. I know my dad Larry will never be the same without him. He will be missed.

I knew Jim for brief time when I lived on Lily gap rd. He was wonderful with horses.  My horse Rusty was about 30years old, and he would get down, and have trouble getting back on his feet.  The neighbors would help get him back up. Jim was always their.  He would stop to see how everything was going. What a very caring person he was.  Bobbie

What an amazing world of technology we now have!!! This is wonderful, THANK YOU, Jackie! I am sure that all who visit here will have thoughts of Jim...I hope they write them down. He was an incredibly talented man. Even though it was difficult for him, he made sure I knew that we shared love & kept in touch in later years. I will cherish that! And our Mother would be pleased & proud!
