Msgt James M. Enos, 67 passed away peacefully among family and friends at Dayton VA, Dayton, Oh on July 16, 2023. James was a decorated veteran who served in the United States Air Force and spent 28 years in active duty.

James was born on January 17, 1956, in Portland, Oregon to his parents Evelyn Amburgey and Clyde Enos. When James was just 17, James decided he wanted to join the Air Force where he was first stationed at Incirlik Air Base in Sarıçam/Adana, Türkiye. James would go on to serve in the Air Force with some of his closest friends and new military family.

While serving in the Air Force, James spent time in his homeland Hawaii, Europe, Korea, Japan, Philippines, and various bases located around the world.

After retirement from the Air Force in Hawaii, James started working at General Dynamics. He worked at General Dynamics for another 10 years in Engineering Telecommunications.

When he wasn’t working, James had a passion for music, computers, helping others, working on cars, going to the beach, watching thunder and lightning storms, video games and enjoying life to the fullest.

James was predeceased by (Mother Evelyn Smith, Stepfather Lyle Allen, Father Clyde Enos). He is survived by Daughter Amanda Enos, Son Loren Stilwell, Son Michael Stilwell (Wife Julie), Grandchildren Austin, Audrey, Tyler Stilwell and Lexxia (Husband Paris) Walker, Brother Royce (Wife Lou), Stepbrother Kenneth Allen, Hānai Daughter Christin Douglas, Fellow VA Brothers Jim Paul, Robert Taylor, and many others.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers he would like for you to do something kind for someone in need and to spread more Aloha in people’s hearts. There will be a Memorial service held at 1 p.m. on August 5th 2023 at the Dayton VA BLDG 320, 4100 W 3rd St. Dayton, Oh 45428. All are welcome to Attend.
