“…But the greatest of these is love.” I Corin. 13:13. Our beloved James O. “Pick” Pickles, 82, left his earthly family to join his Heavenly Father and family on Sunday morning, December 2, 2007. He was born on December 4, 1924, in Madison, Florida, to James Avery “Uncle Bud” Pickles and Pearl Beatrice Bass and lived in Madison until moving to Lake Park, Georgia, in March 2000.

Six years we've had to manage without you and your advise, support and encouragement! It hasn't been easy sometimes, but as you used to say "you've just gotta back your ears and keep on". So we do, but we miss you everyday and will always miss you.

My daddy died before I was two so never having a dad of my own, I truly know how blessed you were to have him in your life! And, how blessed I was to share him and your mom with you girls! He was one of a kind!!

Daddy died on December 2, 2007. This was our first Christmas without Daddy. Somehow we made it throught, but it's never been the same without him except the memory of the love he gave and how much he loved us all!

This was our last fishing trip with Daddy.  We went to McMullen Pond and did very nicely that day!  Needless to say, we had a fish fry that night.

This was taken at Steinhatchee, Florida, one Saturday we took a motorcycle trip.  Daddy loved following us in the car we took a motorcycle ride.  He always said if he was able he'd be riding a Harley with us!
