James Raymond Edwards, Jr., 45, a lifetime resident of Granville County, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2012 at his father’s residence.
A native of Granville County, the son of the late Patsy Davis Edwards, a member of Peace’s Chapel Baptist Church and was a commercial construction worker.
Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM, Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Peace’s Chapel Baptist Church by Rev. Bruce Brooks. Burial will be in church cemetery.
Surviving are his five sons, Zachary, Brandon, Matthew and Cody all of Oxford, Chase Edwards of Alabama, his fathers, James R. Edwards, Sr. of Oxford, and a sister, Chonnie Edwards of Oxford.
Flowers omitted and memorials be made to Peace’s Chapel Baptist Church, 4572 Antioch Road, Oxford, North Carolina 27565.
Visitation will be held from 7:00 – 8:30 PM, Saturday, May 19, 2012 at the Eakes Funeral Chapel in Oxford and other times at the home.
