Daddy would have been his parents only child except for the fact that his mom thought she couldn't have children. So they adopted my daddy's brother Paul. Then Paul was about 5 or 6. Then daddy's mom found out she was pregnant. Making daddy pretty much a miricle. Daddy told me often he had very good childhood. But tragedy struck when he was just 9 years old with the untimely death of his father. Daddy told me on more than line occasion that after his dad passed he went pretty wild, causing his mother much grief. Then his mother took I'll. Daddy was convinced she died of a broken heart. I remember the story he told me about how he held onto the corner post of his moms big four post bed and begged God not to take his mother. Unfortunately she passed anyway and he always seemed to blame God until much later in life when he would hear God speaking to him . He listened and began to spread Gods word.
