Mr. James Rufus Taylor of Lanett, AL, died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012. 



Visitation

3 to 6 PM Sunday 02/19/2012 with family hour 6 to 7 PM EST at Davis Memorial Mortuary in Valley AL.      
 

Service

12:00 Noon central time 02/20/2012 at Rehope Baptist Church in Lafayette AL.

Mr. T will be missed. He adopted me like a son when I was stationed @ US Naval Base "Meridian Ms" in 1979. He left a legacy of Love, hard work, honesty and most of all too be a man of your word! James was a great man and he will be missed. I enjoyed talking politics and laughing with him over the years. He had the insight to see through the insignificant matters and concentrate on the matters that count. He was my friend and I will miss him.
