On January 5, 2022, James Todd, Jr. passed away to go be with his Father and Mother in Heaven. He was 41 years old.
James is survived by his husband, Allen Troy Flynt-Todd; his son Zachary Holtzapfel; his paternal grandmother Barbara Todd (Mamaw); his sister Tara Harr; his aunts Angela Smith, and Charlotte Toppins; his uncle Phillip Todd; Cousins: Crystal Aldridge, BarbaraJoe Porter, Denna Stevens, Jeremy Todd, Michael Beckner and Dakota Porter and his nephew Caden Aldridge.
James was preceded in death by his father James Todd, Sr; his mother Loretta Fairchild Todd Cline; his maternal grandmother Anna Loretta Fairchild; his paternal grandfather Carl Todd Sr. (Papal) and his uncle Carl Todd, Jr.
James wished to remember his good friend and adopted grandmother Nancy Spicer of Dayton, Ohio. He cherished your friendship and enjoyed your company and long conversations.
James was born on September 4, 1980. He graduated South Webster High School in 1999.
Family will remember Jimbo and his candid sense of humor. Jimbo could light up a room and make the worst of enemies laugh and enjoy one another again. Jimbo was known as the family protector and guardian. Many will know Jimbo for his strong attribute to take responsibility for any mischief's he created.
James left all of us way too soon. he loved God, his country and his family immensely. James was very passionate about helping the less fortunate and those in need. he has been known to literally give the shirt off of his back to someone less fortunate.
James lived by this Creed: semper fidelis "Always Faithful" "Always Loyal".
John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
no funeral or memorial service is immediately planned. James's husband will notify loved ones and friends in the future when his celebration of life is scheduled.
