James Woody Hall, 77, a longtime resident of Granville County passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Granville Medical Center.

He was a native of Person County, the son of the late Alonza Issac Hall and Leslie Garner Hall. Woody was a longtime member of Delrayno Baptist Church and was an installer and owner/operator of Hall’s Floor Fashions, Inc. for fifty-three years.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Delrayno Baptist Church by Rev. Greg Richardson and Albert Capps. Burial will follow the service at Elmwood Cemetery in Oxford.

Surviving are his wife of fifty-six years, Janey Huff Hall of the home; three sons, Brent Woody Hall (Pat) of Raleigh, Anthony Blaine Hall of Raleigh, Bryon Shane Hall (Tonya) of Henderson; one granddaughter, McNeill Hall, three grandsons, Drew and Landon Hall, Carter Bryce Hall; and his special caretaker and friend, Jackie Sidney. He was preceded in death by sisters, Peggy Lynch, Jo Ann Mitchum and a brother, Ronnie Joe Hall.

Visitation will be held Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 12:30 – 2:45 P.M. in the Fellowship Hall at Delrayno Baptist Church and at other times at the home.
