"Pops" - you were the best. It's been a few years since you left us but I think about you all the time. You were such a great guy..Wish I could have had more time with you. You brought an amazing woman into the world that I have for my wife. What more can I say except that you were always what I thought was great about Dads in this world. Your kids looked up to you and admired you. You were a great man. I miss you Pops.
The last time I saw my Gramps he told me a story. He was in the backyard and slipped. He landed unhurt but couldn’t get back up even with the help of Grandma. I then of course asked him why he didn’t send her to get Uncle Jim to help him up. He responded with a chuckle, “figured I’d lay there for a while… it was a nice night.” Gramps, thank you for always making me laugh and teaching me that in life you’ll undoubtedly fall sometimes but there’s no point in rushing back to your feet, you’ll make it back up eventually and you might miss out on a little star gazing in the mean time. Well there you go then there. Love you always, Nicole.
My Dad, he was my best friend, I will miss him, his company and his love forever. . .I would give anything for just another simple hour of time with him. . .
He loved his family very, very much. I will miss, love and think of him everyday until I die. . .You were the best Dad, and I love you so very much. . .
I Love You Dad
God saw you getting tired
And a cure was not to be
So he put his arms around you and whispered,
"Come with Me."
With tearful eyes we
Watched you slowly fade away.
Although we loved you dearly,
We would not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Your hardworking hands put to rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.
Forever in my heart,
Michele Maria
