Jamie was by far the most loyal person I know. He looked after everyone and played the roll of the oldest cousin well.  Jamie thrived in an environment that he knew he could make an impact and we loved him for it. His greatest accomplishment however was becoming a father. You were the twinkle in his eye Alyssa. He was so proud of you.  He would bring you everywhere.  I still see his smile whenever he would tell stories about your little accomplishments. He would light up like a griswald Christmas tree. He was a great man and an even better father.

I was fortunate to have him through my teenage years.  He hated the decisions I made, but never judged. He was there to help me celebrate my milestones as well. When I graduated high school me and Jamie worked with Aunt Anna and Uncle Gary. He would pick me up in the morning and let me drive his Honda. I learned how to drive stick in that car.  Probably at a great cost to his clutch. Every once and a while I hear him tell me to slowly let my foot off the clutch and press the gas. I can't tell you how many times I stalled.  We always got a good laugh. He told me when I was learning, "you are going to get stuck at a green light, you will have everyone honking, people will be pissed, but it will never happen again. " I still give that advice to this day.

I miss him just as much today as I did 16 years ago.  Losing him tore a hole in my heart that will never heal. I love you so much Jamie. You are loved and missed everyday.
