ForeverMissed

Jane, age 78, passed away peacefully after a short illness, knowing the love of her family and care of her friends.

She leaves behind her son J. Scott, his wife Heidi, and granddaughters Emily and Katrina.  She also leaves behind her sister and confidant, Donna, niece Heather with husband Joe, niece Kelly, and nephew Jeffrey with wife Joy, as well as two grand nieces and one grand nephew.

She was an accomplished artist and painter, and an art teacher, and traveled globally as a young woman. She was a member of the Willingboro Art Guild and for many years painted the Halloween pumpkin for her local neighborhood parade and party.

She especially loved the many pets that she had over her life time, and above all, her precious kitty companions that pre-deceased her, Sarah and Rags.

She cared deeply for her family and friends and was quick to lend help when she could. She was grateful to all her family, neighbors and friends who helped her when her body could not keep up with her mind. To the end, she had plans and dreams. She will be missed.

A memorial service will be held on January 3, 2019 at 7pm, at the Brooklawn United Methodist Church, 213 Maude Ave, Brooklawn, NJ 08030.

My heart is shattered to learn of Jane's passing. We were two peas in a very unique pod. I met her in a framing shop in south Florida many years ago. We became fast friends and stayed in touch for decades. We had many wonderful intellectual and spiritual conversations. Each one was filled with so much laughter! Jane was an incredible woman, artist, and friend. The world will never be as bright without her. I will miss her always.

Jane was a lovely neighbor. I enjoyed talking to her. I helped her clean out her house for her big move. What a system we had!! Jane went through every magazine telling me which pages to pull out. We went through books and videos. I enjoyed it. She was so proud of her belongings. Many stories came with the magazines, books, and her personal things. I will miss her. May all the angels watch over her.

I had the privilege of meeting Jane around 2006 when she graciously lent her expertise in producing and editing the Willingboro Art Alliance newsletter along with me.  In spite of her health issues she was very gracious and generous with her time in producing this monthly member newsletter.  She loved creating and discussing art and would show me her artwork during the couple years I worked with her.  She also continued with the newsletter after I had to go back to work.  Please accept my deepest sympathy with her passing.....Arleen Potter

What a lovely lady and a sweet soul. We will always remember her beautifully painted pumpkins at our Halloween parades. Art was a passion she shared in the hopes of sparking interest in others. Hope you're in heaven dancing, Jane!!
