Jane was born on April 26th, 1938 in Minneapolis, MN as the youngest child into the loving family of Eric Dahlstrom, an immigrant from goteborg, sweden, and Jane Ann Dahlstrom an immigrant from Aberdeen, Scottland. The Dahlstrom family lived in the close-knit Minneapolis neighborhood of Bryn Mawr and were founding members of they Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church. Jane's character, values and faith grew from her family and this community. Here began her love of religious music and leadership in choir.Jane graduated from Bryn Mawr grade school and Hopkins High School and attended the University of Minnesota. She worked with her highschool friends picking raspberries and while in college, as a receptionist at Swanberg and Scheefe Buick. There she found her first love- a TR2. Jane Jaunted all around town in the english green sports car and as a result met her first husband Merle Juhnke. Merle and Jane were married December 16th 1960. They lived in Wilmar, New Ulm and St Paul, Minnesota. Son Todd was born in 1961 and daughter Robin in 1963.
