Jane Hunt Mangum Currin, 82, a lifetime resident of Granville County passed away Monday, May 8, 2017 at Duke Regional Hospital in Durham.
Jane was the daughter of the late Arthur Jarvis and Pauline Hunt Mangum. She was a member of Landmark Baptist Church and retired from Granville County Schools.
Funeral Services will be conducted 3:00 P.M. Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Landmark Baptist Church by Rev. Craig Currin. Burial will follow the service in the Church Cemetery.
Surviving are a son, Stephen Craig Currin (Gayla); two daughters, Hope C. Mangum (David) and Amy C. Thompson (Chuck) of Creedmoor; five grandchildren, Brooke Parker, Chase Whisenhunt, Jamison Whisenhunt, Natalie DuBiel, Hunter Thompson; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews and a special niece, Dianne Bennett and friend, Cathy Newton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Weldon Poe Currin; daughter, Catherine Currin Whisenhunt; granddaughter, Lindsey Weldon Currin and sisters, Patsy Morris and Kay Kittrell.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 1:00 – 2:45 P.M. at Landmark Baptist Church and at other times at the home.
