She was born in Hogansville, Georgia on August 30, 1946, the daughter of the late Alice Faye Myrle Brown Webb and Harvey James Webb. She was a graduate of Heard County High School, and was a very faithful member of Welcome United Methodist Church. Mrs. Jane was an avid reader, and loved growing beautiful house plants! There was nothing in her life that was more important to her then her family. The greatest joy in her life was to be surrounded by all those she loved while enjoying a meal together. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband Marvin Eugene Wheat “Gene” of Roopville, GA.; three sons, Jared Wheat, Jason Wheat (Karmen) of Roopville, GA, and Britt Wheat (Amy) of Fl. ; one sister, Sue Reynolds (Ed) of Roopville, GA. one special granddaughter, Montana Wheat of Atlanta, GA.; eight grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

 

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Webb.
