Janene pops into my head often. There are many songs that make me think of her, Raise a Little Hell, that one that Bryan Adams and the Spice Girl did (I remember searching around for that album with her when it came out), Lover of Mine by Allanah Miles and I Love Rock N Roll to name a few. I think of her when I see crazy socks. I think of her when I see fanny packs. I think of her when I see blue Labello chapsticks. We celebrate her every year and we smile and laugh as we share our favourite stories. We won't forget her xo.
janene would be 51 today It is hard to believe she has been gone 14 years
I placed two roses on her grave along with a candle and hope she sees them
We still miss her every day

The morning Janene died I was awaken at around 3am and knew she had left us. I was glad that she came to me to say goodbye.
Janenes struggle
Janene first became aware of her cancer in 1985 which was her first operation
She had operations every two years because the tumor kept growing.
She finally went into remission in 1992 and stayed thay way until 2000 when
it grew again and she was back to the hospital for another operation.
She took a stroke in June of 2002 and had to be hospilized and she never recovered to come home. She died at 2am on Sept 4 2002.
She was cremated as she wished and is buried in Port Hope United Cemetery
in the old Anglican portion of the cemetery. We will always miss her laugh
and her crazy socks
