THE FAMILY OF AYILARA
IBADAN
Dear Family,
TRIBUTE TO MADAM JANET OMONIKE ADUFE AYILARA
It is with great shock and deep sense of loss that we received the news of the death of our beloved sister, MADAM JANET OMONIKE ADUFE AYILARA which occurred on 2nd April, 2021.
Her death was indeed an irreparable loss to the entire family (both at Abeokuta and Ibadan) when we view her past activities toward the progress and unification of the family members.
I usually called her, Sister Adufe. She was a very accommodating, respectful, efficient, tolerance and industrious woman.
I could remember eight years ago, to be precise, on the 21st March, 2015 when the whole family representatives were at Ibadan for the 70th birthday anniversary of Sister Adufe held at Oke Ado High School, Ibadan embraced with the same lace material (green in colour). Who knew that Sister Adufe will die very soon? Almighty God knows the best for everyone.
I was very stunned to hear this news and still can’t believe that it really happened. During this difficult moment, our thoughts and prayers are always with you the family.
However, as they say, the one who is adored the most by the God is the one who achieves eternal life. I will miss Sister Adufe, and cherish all the happy memories we had with her.
We prayed that Almighty God, in his infinite mercy and grace will console her husband (my dear brother and friend), Children and the entire family (on both sides) in a way no mortal can ever do. Also, to give family the fortitude to bear the loss.
There will never be another woman like her. I am really sorry for the loss. I know how close you were to Sister Adufe and what an influence she had on the lives of many people.
Once again, kindly accept my sincere condolences.
Comrade “Yinka Fashina (AICMC).
