Janet Faye Dement, 56, a longtime resident passed away Saturday, May 3rd, 2014 at her home.

A native of Granville County, the daughter of the late Connell and Wilma Ann Dement. She attended Grassy Creek Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

Surviving are her daughter, Melissa Campbell (William King Campbell, Jr.) of Bullock, two granddaughters; Jennifer and Sheri Campbell, three brothers; Richard Marshall Dement of Henderson, Kenny Lee Dement of Oxford and John Wayne Dement of Henderson, one sister, Lillian Louise Campbell of Oxford.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
