Janet and I went to nursing school together. She was always cheerful, and could find the humor in a lot of situations. (our school was very strict and we usually needed a good laugh). She was a very warm person and a pleasure to be with. My sympathy goes out to her family. She will be missed by those who were lucky enough to know her.

So glad to spend time with Janet when I was old enough to remember. In Eagle River, Alaska, she came to see me when she was doing an Alaskan cruise. Janet was on my mom's side of the family. What a joy to get to know her better after that through letters and email. I will see you again precious one.

Such a beautiful soul, she raised one of the best friends I have ever had to be just as beautiful as she was. Always smiling, always upbeat, I know that she will now smile down on the lives of her kids and bring sunshine when they need it the most, My heart is with you all

My deepest sympathy goes out to her children and family. It was a pleasure getting to know Janet, and discovered what a wonderful person she was to me, and many others. Her kindness, infectious smile and courageous will to live is an inspiration to me. She was a lady who loved to chat, and shared her wisdom of life and family. She touched my heart, and she will never be forgotten.

Janet & I were colleagues at Roche. She was intelligent, kind, professional, and a great story teller! I could listen to her tell stories about her life, her family, her children, forever! Janet was a devoted Mother, Grandmother & dear friend. How we will miss our girls trips!

I had the pleasure of meeting Janet through Brightmore of South Charlotte.
She was someone I couldn't help but admire and look up to. She is the type of person who made you say "I want to be just like her!" She could hop on the back of her son's motorcycle while still looking graceful and beautiful!
Her passion for life and beautiful spirit was contagious and I will miss her dearly.

I adored her from the first time we met. As Jon and Susan's neighbor, we got to celebrate with her just a few times, but it didn't take long to realize how special she was. We bonded over our nursing careers and our excitement for McKenzie as she started her nursing journey. More than anything, she talked about her children and grandchildren and her love for them was always the most important thing to her. Wishing peace and comfort to you all.

I met Jay and Jon Hines in 9th grade. Their mom was the most incredible person. She welcomed me in their family and always tried to make sure we made the right decisions in our lives. She will be missed. Not only by her family but everyone who knew her.

Like Tim, I met Jon and Jay when I joined the high school wrestling team in 9th grade. They became two of my best friends. During that time I met you multiple times and you were always kind and loving. Your love for your sons is evident in the type of people that Jon and Jay have become. I know they will miss you terribly, but will cherish your memory. Rest in Piece.

I met Jon at Mingle. Over the past year, I've witnessed through photos on Facebook the love and passion he, his brother and wife have for their mom. May she rest in Heaven.
