Oh, Lovely Mama, We will all miss you. I remember my youthful days at Surulere Assembly, when we gather for meetings, after the pleasantries, Mama will whisper softly into my ears and with a wide smile, I will say Thank you, Mama. With her, there is no dull moment. May her gentle soul rest in the bossom of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.

TRIBUTE TO OUR "OLORI" (QUEEN).
Mama, my heart was troubled and lonely, my soul caught injuries when I was told of your death. It's a great loss to Tosavi Family, my family and myself. I could always remember how you often call me "Oko Mi" (My husband.) We will never forget the love you always show to us.
Mama, I remember your husband, late Evangelist Zachariah Bojenu Travi, often said to you whenever I visit Ijesha, "Mama, Oko re ti de, (your husband has come.), prepare him eba not tea." Your life is a model to us. We will forever remember you. Goodnight Mama, we love you so dearly.

Tribute to a beloved Mother in the Lord
Mama was truly a quiet disciple who truly loved the Lord and His people. She would always be at the meeting of the church early. She did not make noise but her quiet life spoke very eloquently of her Savior. She was just like Ruth who told Naomi, her mother in law, that “your people shall be my people, your God shall be my God, where you die I will die and there I will be buried.” Ruth 1:16-17. She was not the Martha type but just like Mary who always sat at Jesus’ feet, listening and worshiping.
Mama did not believe in waiting for a car before going to church. She did not allow anything to stand between her and God. She would make use of public transport from her house to Falolu bus stop and walk down to the church hall.
Mama was an encourager among us. She was a woman of a few words but her presence cheered us up. She supported her husband in the work of God. Mama was truly a virtuous woman and her husband’s name was heard in the gate. She did him good and not evil in their years together.
We love her but God loves her more.

Dear Grandma, I love you and am glad you knew before you passed on. I thank God for the opportunity I had to spend time with you even though I wanted more. You spoilt me small always having small change to give me when I was young and a student but you still scolded me with these words when I was naughty "Obedience is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fats of rams", I later discovered when I grew older that it was from the Bible 1Sam15:22.
You were a true virtuous woman. You always had a word of encouragement for me anything we discussed about life issues you would sum the conversation with "In God's time".
Indeed in God's time He called you home which you were prepared for to be welcomed by your Master Jesus and reuniting with your late husband.
I will forever miss you and pray that souls will continue to be saved for the Kingdom of God by the testimony of the life you lived for God here on earth.

FAREWELL AUNTY JANE
Aunty Janet as we the South African fondly called you. Ever so vibrant, lively respectful to all and very caring.
You were a mother to us all, always on the move visiting each and everyone of us to make sure we are not homesick and our families are all doing fine.
You lived a long and well- fulfilled life sharing love ,and loved by all who knew you.
No one would ever guess you were that old because your youth was renewed by God like that of an eagle.
Your death indeed came as a shock. You did not deserve to die from sickness at all. You deserved a quiet peacefull sleep with a smile on your face.. That way death would no have squeezed the life out of you so soon. Where is thy sting oh death? You were indeed a woman of God serving God with all your heart, all your soul and all your body.
We have lost you on this earth but heaven has gained you..
You will forever be in our hearts.
Rest in peace my dear beautiful Aunty Janet until we meet again.

Mrs. Mary Osagie.

Mama, we love you as always, i, in particular will always remember your good work done to help restore my fractured leg in 1977/1978. I thought I will never walk with the leg again, but you and your loving husband, BABA ZACH TRAVI
took it upon your selves to have me admitted in Late Dr Baileys clinic at ilupeju in lagos where operation was carried out twice before I was able to walk with my legs again. I can never forget your love and care for me as a mother to her child. U are really a mother in Israel Mama. Uptil we meet at the Lord's feet good night Mama.

The pain we feel when losing a love one is a pain that never heals. A wound that is now open in need of comfort to seal. You're love will forever live on and I will cherish the moments we shared. The moments we had together will forever be the bandage that will never disappear.

We love you Mother Travi

Janet was a remarkable lady. At home in Lagos, Europe or America, but we are sure at most of all at home with the Lord. And spanning so many changes, she moved effortlessly between the decades.  We were privileged that she visited Newcastle, England just over a year ago, and came with her daughter, grandson and great grandson. Such a happy time of fellowship for us. We shall remember her for a long time. To God be the glory.

Maa like I always called her was the best Grandma anyone could ever wish and pray for.. Her Love for God was unquestionable. I am grateful to God for all the years I spent with you. Especially the last few years.. It was filled with a lot of beauty laughters and fun. There was never a dull moment with her. I remember her last visit to the UK in 2019/2020 seeing her with her Great GrandChildren Tay, Isaac and Elijah in the womb at the time. I Remember Maa and little Isaac always at each others throat and how I would laugh soo hard at how they both played Tom and Jerry enjoying each others company. I remember how every conversation I ever had with her always ended with the scriptures and prayers. I am gonna really miss that.. I remember when Maa had to make the trip to Nigeria last year November and I did all humanly possible to ensure she got on the flight to meet me up in London first. I remember her feeling so relaxed about missing her flight. She said to me stay cool I am fine where I am and tell no one I missed my flight. One thing I have learnt from Maa was her faith and trust in God come rain come shine. Maa never had anything Negative to say about issues or Life.. she always saw the positive and prayed over the Lives of all her Children and Grand Children.. Maa the love you showed me was unconditional. I miss you sooo much and I wish I could just spend one more day with you. I am happy because you are now in a better place with Grandpa Zach in heaven with God. Till we meet again to path no more.. I Love you always Maa..

Please if you have not accepted Jesus as your Lord and Saviour why not do soo now so that when the time comes Just like my Grandma you would be assured of a place in Heaven.. If you would like to do so please say this prayer with a willing heart. Lord Jesus I confess my Sins and I accept you as my Lord and Saviour.. Be my Lord and guide in Jesus Christ name I pray AMEN..

Mama Travi was very special woman of God to Mashego Family in Johannesburg South African and also in the US. We first knew Mama Travi in the mid eighties when she used to come visit us in Johannesburg on her way back from visiting her late son in Houston TX. We thank God for giving us the opportunity to know and spend time with her. Mama Travi always made sure that we are anchored in the word of God, she wiill always remain in our hearts ♥

Mama was special in many ways. She cared for the well being, physically and spiritually, of all who came in contact with her. She was a godly woman who was in touch with heaven. I will not be able to recount all my experiences with Mama while growing up in the Church.

One occasion remains vivid in my mind. It was a prayer meeting. I had been led to pray passionately on a point that evening. After the meeting, Mama placed her hand on my shoulder and said, 'My son , your prayer has been answered'. Lo and behold, the prayer was answered to the letter.

We celebrate the special life that Mama lived. Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints. Psalm 116:15.
Our loss is Heaven's gain. Glory be to God.
