Please accept my most sincere condolences on the death of your mother. I knew Janet from the League of Women Voters of Greater Red Bank. What a great generation of community minded women who were devoted to the League and its work toward making our democracy more responsive to the political and envionmental needs of our area. People like Janet, Mary Andrews, Kay Rapere, Elaine Anderson, Carla Wilkinson, Helen Herrmann,Florence Peskoe and Elizabeth Kelly. I am proud to have known them all.
I last saw Janet at the Atrium where she had Mary and I as her luncheon guests. She was a perfect combination of intelligence and kindness.
What a loss to your family and to the community. I am so glad to have known her.
